Overview
In this role, you drive Alma’s growth in Italy by winning new SMB merchant clients and expanding our local market presence. You will work within the commercial team, partnering with Paris-based functions, to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and build strategic relationships. You’ll balance market research, territory strategy, and pipeline management to hit revenue goals. This is an entrepreneurial, fast-paced role with a clear impact on European expansion and merchant adoption of BNPL solutions. The opportunity combines strategic selling with cross-functional collaboration to shape Alma’s growth.

Responsabilità
- Market analysis and strategy development to identify growth areas
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets via lead generation and deal closure
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close
- Develop tailored proposals and collaborate with Marketing for compelling pitches
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships and attend industry events
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Ops, Risk, People) to support growth
- Use CRM and sales tools to track opportunities and results
Requisiti fondamentali
- 1 year of AE SMB or 2 years as BDR/SDR with client demos/negotiations
- native Italian speaker with English fluent
- excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- proficiency with CRM and sales tracking tools
- understanding of European market dynamics, especially Italy (nice to have)
- experience in fast-growing Tech or SaaS is a plus
