Our campus, which opened in September 2013, incorporates a theatre, swimming pool and full-size gymnasium as well as specialist classrooms, labs, libraries, arts and music areas. All of our sections are fully authorised for International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes – Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Kindergarten to Grade 6; Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Grades 7 to 11; Diploma Programme (DP) in Grades 12 and 13. IS Milan is the most established IB world school in Italy and regularly exceeds global averages in the IBDP. In addition, we opened our Boarding House in 2018, which has added immensely to the sense of family at IS Milan. /p pOur Early Years Educators are skilled in teaching a range of abilities within the classroom and are able to work with small groups to help students achieve their full potential. They embrace diversity, within our international setting, ensuring that learning is inclusive of students of all nationalities, profiles and linguistic abilities. They ensure that student agency is at the centre of the learning experience, encouraging innovation and creativity, within a caring and principled learning environment. /p pbIt is essential that the person appointed has the appropriate teaching qualifications to work with children aged 2 – 3 years old, as required by Italian law. /b Ideally, we are seeking someone with previous experience of the IB PYP curriculum, but we are flexible to applicants from other curricula who are committed to high standards and innovative approaches to learning. /p h3bKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: /b /h3 ul liDeliver high-quality, play-based Early Years education for children aged 2–5.



/li liPlan and implement engaging learning experiences that support holistic development (cognitive, social, emotional, and physical). /li liCreate a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and wellbeing. /li liObserve, assess, and track children’s progress, using evidence to inform planning and next steps. /li liCommunicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s development and learning progress. /li liWork collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality Early Years provision. /li liSupport early language, communication, numeracy, and social development through structured and play-based activities. /li liContribute to the wider school community, including events, trips, and extracurricular activities. /li liImplement safeguarding, behaviour, and pastoral care policies consistently. /li liReflect on practice and engage in continuous professional development to improve outcomes for learners. /li /ul h3bTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: /b /h3 ul liRecognised Early Years teaching qualification. /li liExperience working with children aged 2–5 in an Early Years or nursery setting. /li liUnderstanding of child development and early years pedagogy, including knowledge of EYFS, Reggio Emilia, or equivalent frameworks. /li liExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. /li liStrong classroom management, organisation, and planning skills with a focus on high-quality learning outcomes. /li liA passionate, child-centred approach with the ability to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. /li liA reflective and adaptable mindset, committed to continuous improvement and professional growth. /li /ul h3bSAFEGUARDING STATEMENT: /b /h3 pInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
