This is a rare opportunity to have a long-term impact on the success of the JV, by playing a crucial role in the initial stages of the life of the new organisation and laying the foundations for its success. /p pThis position is critical for the company, and this position is primarily responsible for accounting operations and financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness following the accounting standards and the JV’s financial accounting policies and practices. /p pAccountant will contribute to accounting and financial operations through daily bookkeeping, standalone and consolidated financial closing work, and other various procedures to maintain the sound financial positions and to meet the requirements of IFRS and the applicable accounting standards. /p pThis role will report into Senior Finance Manager – Financial Operations. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul lipbStandalone financial closing: /b Prepare the standalone financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually. Be responsible for the assigned tasks for the preparation and the reporting of standalone financials with accuracy and timeliness. Tasks includes, but not limited to, accounts close with ERP, preparation of financialdata by business segments and various analysis to confirm the accuracy of financial data.



/p /li lipbConsolidated financial closing: /bBe responsible for assigned tasks for the preparation of consolidated financials with accuracy and timeliness. Tasks includes, but not limited to, intercompany elimination, preparation of consolidated worksheet, set of financial statements and relevant supporting materials; /p /li lipbVarious Financial Reporting: /bprepare various data and report and perform the analytical procedures for the management decision-making. /p /li lipbOther accounting tasks: /b Carry out day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR reconsolidation, bank reconciliation, expense processing and VAT filings with AP/AR team, Treasury team and Tax team. /p /li lipbFinancial audit /b: Gather and provide supporting evidence and liaise with external and internal auditors /p /li lipAct as day-to-day point of contact for the rest of the Finance function and for statutory auditors as technical accounting subject matter expert. /p /li /ul h3Essential Qualifications /h3 ul lipPossesses strong curiosity about figures /p /li lipResponsible with accuracy, attention to small details, and meeting deadlines /p /li lipCommunicative, capable of smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders /p /li lipFlexible to changes and proactive in pursuing business process improvements /p /li lipProfessional qualification in a relevant field (desirable) /p /li /ul h3Skills and Experience /h3 h3Essential /h3 ul lipPrevious experience and knowledge of operational financial reporting processes; /p /li lipTechnical knowledge of IFRS, FRC guidance, as well as statutory requirements applicable to the companies in UK, Italy and Japan. /p /li /ul h3Desiderabile /h3 ul lipExperience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle,
