Primary objective of the position Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) and for back up first line level one service and assisting with installations and deinstallations.Major accountabilitiesProvides first line service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours labor time)Schedules and perform planned maintenance (PM) activitiesAssists with instrument installations and deinstallationsEducational backgroundBachelor degree or equivalent experience is requiredDegree as Mechanical/Electrical/Biomedical/Biotechnology/Clinical EngineerRequirements / Work experience2/3 Years experience in a similar positionSuccessful engagement with customers, specifically lab staffTechnical expert for product line responsibilityStrong communication skillsAbility to identify and drive resolution of issuesStrong experience in use of analytical tools and softwareEmployment Classification: Employee, Level B2, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL).Gross Annual Salary (RAL):
