pExtreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development of rugged single board computers and systems. This role focuses on mechanical design and verification, including 3D modeling, drawing creation, analysis, and electromechanical integration. The engineer will collaborate with PCB design, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to develop robust, manufacturable designs. /p h3Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform mechanical engineering work necessary to ensure X-ES products conform to provided specifications. /li liSupport development of new products through analysis-driven decision making. /li liCommunicate design status across departments and document engineering decisions clearly. /li liCreate and review complex 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Creo. /li liReview PCB layouts for mechanical fit, constraints, and integration within assemblies. /li liEvaluate mechanical FEA results, including modal, shock, vibration, and fatigue analyses, and provide design recommendations. /li liAnalyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and recommend design changes to improve product performance and reliability. /li liDocument engineering analyses, test results, and technical recommendations, and effectively communicate findings and conclusions to cross-functional teams /li liMentor less experienced engineers, provide technical guidance, and review engineering work for quality and accuracy. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /li liMinimum of seven (7+) years of related engineering experience /li liStrong proficiency in solid modeling and mechanical drawing creation (Creo preferred). /li liStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills,



with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. /li liWorking knowledge of GDT and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles /li liAbility to work efficiently and independently. /li liAbility to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI. /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liTen (10+) years of related engineering experience. /li liProficient in GDT and tolerance analysis. /li liExperience with simulation tools (ANSYS, Creo Simulate, etc.). /li liExperience with PCB-mechanical integration. /li liExperience with vibration/shock testing, solder joint durability, or rugged electronics packaging. /li liExperience with programming or scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, etc.). /li /ul h3Compensation And Benefits /h3 pExtreme Engineering Solutions offers a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits, including: /p ul liNo-deductible, low-copay group health and dental insurance (90% employer paid) /li liLife insurance, short and long-term disability insurance (100% employer paid) /li liEligibility for health, dental, vision, life/ADD, and disability insurance benefits on the first day of the month following date of hire /li liPaid time off, plus eight paid holidays a year /li li401(k) employer match up to 4%.
