Primary objective of the position Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) and for back up first line level one service and assisting with installations and deinstallations. /ph3Major accountabilities /h3ulliProvides first line service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours labor time) /liliSchedules and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities /liliAssists with instrument installations and deinstallations /li /ulh3Educational background /h3ulliBachelor degree or equivalent experience is required /liliDegree as Mechanical/Electrical/Biomedical/Biotechnology/Clinical Engineer /li /ulh3Requirements / Work experience /h3ulli2/3 Years experience in a similar position /liliSuccessful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff /liliTechnical expert for product line responsibility /liliStrong communication skills /liliAbility to identify and drive resolution of issues /liliStrong experience in use of analytical tools and software /li /ululliEmployment Classification: Employee, Level B2, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL).
