About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Borgo Monchiero, A Signature Atmosphere. The successful candidate will support the Resident Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. This role requires strong culinary expertise, effective leadership, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences that celebrate local ingredients and regional flavours while upholding the property's culinary and service standards.

Key Responsibilities




• Support the Resident Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Supervise, guide, and coordinate the kitchen team to maintain consistency, efficiency, and high culinary standards.
• Ensure exceptional standards of food preparation, quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP regulations, food safety requirements, and established hygiene procedures.
• Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal produce, local ingredients, and regional culinary traditions.
• Assist in managing inventory, purchasing, stock control, and food costs while minimising waste and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Requirements
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or high-end hospitality environment.
