This acquisition allows us to enhance our range of electric heaters used in various industries around the world. /p h3Overview /h3 pThe Engineer is primarily responsible for the detailed design and engineering of industrial electric panel design and electrical solutions in relation to control and functioning of the Electrical Heat Exchangers. This includes the development of custom solutions for a variety of industrial applications,
field support and ensuring compliance with international standards. /p h3Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Include /h3 ul liReview of engineering orders for electric systems, assessing time requirements, technical complexity, and compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards and certifications. /li liDesign and development of heating elements, control panels, and complete heating systems using Thermon/FATI engineering tools. /li liCoordination with engineering teams in other locations for project handovers and technical alignment. /li liDay-to-day management of engineering projects within the Italian office, ensuring timely and accurate execution. /li liProvide technical support for internal teams and clients, including troubleshooting and resolution of design-related issues. /li liConduct on-site support activities such as installation supervision, commissioning, training, and diagnostics. /li liCollaborate with the Sales team to develop technical proposals, cost estimations, and revisions tailored to customer needs. /li liLiaise with external sales representatives to support key accounts and strategic projects. /li liReview and validate engineering drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance. /li /ul h3Key Characteristics,
Competencies and Skills /h3 ul liTechnical diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical background. /li liSolid understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, in the context of industrial heating applications. /li liFamiliarity with hazardous area classifications and standards. /li liProficiency in engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation, E-Plan). /li liStrong organizational skills and ability to present technical documentation clearly. /li liStructured and methodical approach to planning and execution. /li liFluent in both Italian and English. /li liCommercially aware and solution oriented. /li liSelf-motivated, independent, and collaborative team player. /li liReading and understanding electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. /li liPerforming functional tests and troubleshooting on electrical control panels. /li liSupporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).Performing commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites in Italy and abroad. /li liReading and understanding PIDs and identifying the relevant instrumentation and control signals. /li liChecking electrical wiring, I/O signals, alarms, interlocks and control functions. /li liPreparing test and commissioning reports. /li /ul pThe ideal candidate has a technical background in electrical, electronic or automation systems, practical experience with industrial electrical panels and good troubleshooting capabilities. /p h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liElectrical control and automation panels /li liIndustrial heating systems /li liOil Gas / Petrochemical industry /li liProcess plants /li liPLC and instrumentation systems /li liFAT, SAT and commissioning activities /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
