More specifically, you will lead the evolution and daily operation of the Cyber Security Defence Center (CSDC), ensuring the organization's ability to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats. You will drive the continuous improvement of security monitoring and incident response capabilities, including cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting and cyber assurance activities. In addition, you will serve as the organization's CSIRT referent according to NIS2 requirements coordinating internal and external stakeholders during cyber incidents.
/p h3YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES /h3 ul liDefine and execute the Cyber Security Defence Center (CSDC) strategy, roadmap, and performance objectives. /li liLead security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cyber defence operations. /li liManage cybersecurity incidents end-to-end, ensuring effective containment, recovery, and post-incident improvement actions. /li liCoordinate major cyber incidents, crisis response activities, and communications with internal and external stakeholders. /li liContinuously enhance detection capabilities through threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, automation, and operational improvements. /li liAct as the company's CSIRT representative, ensuring compliance with NIS2 requirements and coordinating reporting obligations when required. /li liLead and develop internal teams and external service providers, ensuring operational excellence and service quality. /li liEstablish KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks to measure CSDC performance, maturity, risks, and emerging threats. /li /ul h3WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. /li liExtensive experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, or Cyber Defence environments.
/li liStrong knowledge of SOC operations, SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR technologies, threat intelligence, incident response methodologies, and network security. /li liProven experience managing complex cybersecurity incidents and coordinating crisis response activities. /li liSolid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, including NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATTCK. /li liExperience leading cybersecurity teams and managing external security service providers. /li liStrong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments. /li liFluency in Italian and English, with availability for on-call duty. /li /ul h3COMPENSATION PACKAGE /h3 ul liThe employment contract will be regulated by “Gomma Plastica” National Collective Bargaining Agreement. /li liThe gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than €60.000. /li liThe Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. /li liThe position’s compensation package also includes a variable component and a competitive welfare and benefits offer.
