The opportunity

We are looking for a Legal Counsel with experience in payment services, financial services and IT technology, to join the Group Legal and Contract Management Department Team. By joining us you will have the opportunity to contribute to achieve a variety of exciting and challenging deals working in an international environment. This position will be full-time, based in Milano and will report to the Head of Legal Italy.

The ideal candidate shall have at least 4 years' post qualification experience within the legal department of financial institution,



fintech and/or or large international IT companies or Law Firms, should be self-motivated, independent and well-organised with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• negotiate and manage commercial legal work (contracts for clients, suppliers, partners, etc.);
• support the business on the negotiations of legal aspects of M&A; processes, strategic partnership, key commercial agreements and other corporate and business development initiatives;
• Provide support in legal, compliance and corporate governance matters (Board of Directors Meetings and General Meetings) relating to the Italian regulated entities within Worldline Group;
• ensure compliance with all applicable laws including with particular focus on banking and payments laws and regulations;
