The Arizona Department of Correction, Rehabilitation Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for an experienced and very professional SUPPLIES WAREHOUSING SUPERVISOR responsible for the budget for warehouse operations and for the overall management of projects, supplies, materials, and equipment needs based on past usage and anticipated organization activities. This role also establishes operational receiving schedules for distribution of purchased materials at the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) - Eyman in Florence, AZ. /p h3Job Duties: /h3 ul liManages automated inventory control system for the warehouse and perform periodical inventories /li liPrepares documents for purchasing and restocking of supplies in accordance with the state Procurement Rules utilizing the automated State Procurement System /li liProjects supply, and material needs based on past usage and anticipated institutional operations /li liPicks, packs and stages orders /li liDevelops and implements warehouse operation related procedures /li liPrepares periodical reports, invoicing and special projects /li liInterfaces with vendors regarding delivery schedules, purchasing and problem resolution /li liDrives on State business /li liPerforms other duties appropriate to the assignment /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills Abilities (KSAs): /h3 pKnowledge of: /p ul liWarehousing systems, practices and procedures including receiving practices, shipping methods, inventory control, accountability, stock rotation, supervision, and hazardous materials control (HAZMAT)
/li liState procurement rules and regulations/procedures /li liMaterial and supply management /li liFire code safety practices and processes, record keeping and retention /li liReport preparation, OSHA rules and regulations /li liWarehouse safety practices and procedures /li liPersonal computer and software applications /li liPrinciples and practices of leadership and work management /li /ul pSkill in: /p ul liSafe operation of a variety of warehouse equipment /li liVerbal and written communication /li liEstablishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships /li liUtilizing inventory software and warehouse equipment /li liReport preparation /li liOrganization, scheduling and assigning tasks /li /ul pAbility to: /p ul liLift/Carry up to 50lbs /li liPush/Pull up to 50lbs /li liWalk/Run up to 0.25 miles /li liApply sound critical judgement, read, interpret, and implement a varied range of reference materials, directives, policy, procedures, regulations, codes, laws and mandates related to area of responsibility /li liLearn principles and practices of leadership and management /li liApply good security, management and supervisory methodology /li liAdapt to changing priorities and/or direction, completing and maintaining established time frames /li liLift and move items manually /li liPerform mathematical calculations, and data entry functions /li liWork independently, exercising independent judgment /li liEstablish and maintain effective work relationships while maintaining professional standards /li liProvide constructive direction and criticism /li liWork in a prison and warehouse environment/setting /li /ul h3Selective Preference(s): /h3 ul liPrefer five (5) years of experience involving receiving, storing, inventory and distributing a variety of supplies and materials /li liThree (3) years experience in supervision of a warehouse environment /li /ul h3Pre-Employment Requirements: /h3 pEmployment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.br/ In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB)
test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.br/ If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.)
