Purpose of the position:
As a Junior Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will join the Engineering function within the Rotating Equipment discipline, supporting bids and projects in execution throughout the equipment lifecycle. How can you support us?
- Review project and tender technical documentation and help define requirements for rotating equipment and packages.
- Prepare inquiry documentation, data sheets,
technical bid evaluations and vendor alignment tabulations under the guidance of the Rotating Equipment Lead.
- Coordinate technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines, vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project, QA/QC and HSE requirements.
- Follow up assigned equipment after order award, review vendor documentation and support inspections, testing, expediting and final documentation.
- Support construction and start-up activities, including technical clarifications, site inspections and as-built documentation when required.
What are we looking for?
Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related engineering field. Background: Up to 2 years of relevant experience, including university projects, thesis work or internships related to machinery, rotating equipment, mechanical design or plant engineering.
