Offer Description
The project aims to improve the nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) of agricultural crops and reduce nitrogen losses, with a focus on N₂O emissions, while contributing to the development of more resilient agroecosystems. AgNUE extends its scope by establishing a global research platform aimed at mitigating N₂O emissions through field measurements, modeling innovation, and high-quality data production. Experimentation and data collection are planned at supersites, farms, fields, and laboratories.



These activities require the implementation of sensors and instruments related to emissions and nitrogen balance that take into account the spatial and temporal variability of the soil-plant-atmosphere system. The project includes dissemination activities with decision makers and farmers, and outreach.

Eligibility criteria
Admission requirements:
- PhD or equivalent degree obtained abroad;
- Scientific and professional CV suitable for the postdoctoral position
