Senior Structural Engineer – Milan
Pubblicato il 09-10-2026 - Black & White Engineering in Milano
At Black and White Engineering, we are expanding our Central Milan team to support the rapid growth of the data centre market across Italy.
This is an opportunity to step into a senior structural role where your experience, judgement and curiosity will directly influence some of the most critical infrastructure being delivered today.
Shape the structures that support Italy’s digital future
You are a structural engineer who understands that great design is not just about strength. It is about foresight, collaboration and creating structures that quietly perform under the most demanding conditions. You take pride in getting the detail right, supporting others around you and seeing complex projects become reality.
What’s in it for you?
- This role gives you the space to do your best work.
- You will be trusted to take ownership of structural design from early concept through to delivery, working on technically complex projects where quality and clarity truly matter.
- You will collaborate closely with engineers across multiple disciplines, contributing to coordinated solutions that are practical, efficient and resilient.
- As our Milan office continues to grow, you will grow with it.
You will be supported in your professional development, encouraged to share your expertise, and given opportunities to mentor others or take on wider responsibility if that is where your ambition leads. All within a business that values integrity, simplicity and people who enjoy solving problems together.
The impact you can have
In this role, your work will shape both projects and people. Your impact will be felt through:
- Delivering high quality structural engineering design for complex data centre developments, ensuring compliance, buildability and technical excellence
- Applying sound engineering judgement to solve structural challenges and manage risk throughout the design process
- Working collaboratively with civil, building services and architectural teams to achieve well coordinated outcomes
- Supporting project delivery through clear communication, programme awareness and budget responsibility
- Contributing to the development of others by sharing knowledge, offering guidance and helping to build a strong structural engineering culture in Milan
In addition, you will be joining a community that prioritises ongoing learning and development through regular knowledge sharing sessions and investment in accredited professional courses and educational programmes. You set the pace for your professional development—whatever direction you choose, you’ll receive full support along the way.
What’s next?
If you are a senior structural engineer looking for meaningful projects, professional trust and the chance to help shape a growing team in Italy, we would love to hear from you.
Bring your experience, perspective and ambition. We will provide the projects, support and platform for you to make a lasting impact.
