Position Summary
The Turin Depot Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards within the Turin Depot operations. The role leads a team of operators, overseeing inspection, rework, containment, and quality control activities to guarantee product conformity and customer satisfaction.
The position acts as the reference point for all depot quality-related matters, coordinating daily operations (including the management of the local logistics provider regarding quality matters), driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company quality standards, processes, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Operations Management
Lead and coordinate all quality activities within the depot, including inspections, audits, containment actions, rework, sorting activities, and product releases.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
Monitor depot quality performance through relevant KPIs and reporting.
Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of quality issues.
Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Product Inspection & Containment
Coordinate incoming, in-process, and final inspections as required.
Ensure effective management of non-conforming materials and products.
Lead containment activities and support recovery plans to minimize quality impacts.
Verify compliance with inspection and release criteria before product shipment or deployment.
Continuous Improvement
Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
Support quality improvement projects aimed at reducing defects, waste, and operational risks.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering,



and Customer Quality teams to implement improvement actions.
Drive problem-solving activities using structured methodologies.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Act as the main depot interface for quality-related topics.
Support internal and external audits.
Facilitate communication and alignment between depot operations and central quality functions.
Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all depot activities comply with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements.
Promote a strong safety culture within the team.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technologies, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Depot Operations.
Previous experience managing teams in an industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
Good command of Microsoft Office applications and quality reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of IATF *****, ISO ****, APQP, FMEA, 8D, and Lean methodologies.
Experience with vehicle inspection, rework, or containment activities.
English proficiency.
