Bergamo's Città Alta is 5 km away and Milan is about 50 km.
/ppJoin the founding team of thisnew property and help shape its opening!
/ppWe are looking for a hands-onand motivated General Manager to lead the hotel from pre-opening through launchand beyond: building the team, setting the culture, and delivering strongcommercial and guest satisfaction results.
/ph3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliLead all pre-opening activities, including the openingcritical path, recruitment and training of the full hotel team, setting upsystems and procedures, and preparing the hotel for Hilton opening approval.
/liliLead and manage all hotel operations after opening,including Front Office, Housekeeping, Breakfast/FB, Engineering, Sales andFinance.
/liliEnsure full implementation of and compliance withHilton and Hampton by Hilton Brand Standards.
/liliPrepare hotel budgets, forecasts and business plans forcorporate and owner approval; review forecasts and the balanced scorecard.
/liliDirect actions required to maximise profitability,increase service levels and improve team member satisfaction.
/liliOversee sales, marketing and revenue strategy andresults; lead sales and marketing strategy meetings and actively participate insecuring business.
/liliBuild the hotel's presence in the local market bydeveloping relationships with corporate clients, the airport, travel partnersand the local community.
/liliLead the department heads to ensure that profit,service and team member satisfaction goals are met or exceeded.
/liliHire, supervise,



coach and evaluate department headsand key personnel; develop the skills of direct reports and support the growthof high-potential team members.
/liliCommunicate regularly with the hotel owners andpartners on results and align strategic plans for the future development of thehotel.
/liliWork closely with Apex Alliance corporate departmentson implementing standards, procedures and policies, and provide feedback oncompany-wide initiatives.
/li /ulh3REQUIREMENTS /h3ulliProven experience as a General Manager or HotelManager, ideally within Hilton or another international hotel brand; experiencein the select-service or focused-service segment is an advantage.
/liliPre-opening experience is strongly preferred.
/liliLeadership experience of 5 years or more, with a proventrack record of achieving revenue and service objectives.
/liliExtensive knowledge of hotel operations, sales andmarketing, revenue management, human resources and hotel financial processes.
/liliStrong analytical skills and the ability to managelarge amounts of information and give clear direction.
/liliProven ability to recruit, motivate, train and lead ateam of professionals.
/liliAbility to manage multiple projects, set priorities andwork effectively under time and resource constraints.
/liliAbility to work effectively with owners, guests andteam members with tact and diplomacy.
/liliExcellent written and verbal communication andpresentation skills.
/liliFluent in Italian and English.
