/b /p h3ABOUT GENERATOR VENICE /h3 pIt's not hard to find beauty in a marble city built on a lagoon, but away from the obvious sights and monuments, across bridges, down backstreets and into secret squares, you'll discover the hidden corners where Venetians hang out.
Because if you want to find the real Venice, you have to get lost.
/p pGenerator Venice stands on the waterfront of the island of Giudecca, one short stop on the Vapporetto from Piazza San Marco.
This hostel was originally a warehouse, so the building blends history and character with contemporary design features.
/p pInside the Generator Venice hostel you'll find luxurious mosaic floors, a glass chandelier and an imposing stone fireplace.
Public spaces are subtly split into intimate and open-plan areas - all surrounding the bar and café.
Every room has a view of either the gardens, Lido, Grande Canal or the iconic San Marco.
Not bad for a hostel, aye?
/p h3NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB /h3 ul liReport to the FB Supervisor/Manager /li liBe assigned to a department, either Bar, Café or Kitchen, but you may cross over to other outlets temporarily or permanently depending on your skills, ambitions and business requirements /li liHave sound knowledge and experience working with great coffee and food with the courage to offer something a little different to the Generator guest /li liTake ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Generator experience.
/li liRespond quickly and efficiently to all customer requests and enquiries, ensuring that you maintain a "can do" attitude at all times /li liEnsure you comply with all company policies you have been trained on,



which include Fire Training and Health Safety and - - - Food Hygiene /li liBe responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty /li liBe part of a great team within your department that get Generator and want to be themselves /li liKnow your customers like you know your friends /li /ul pNaturally this is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties.
Other duties as may be reasonably required will form part of this job description.
