JOB DESCRIPTION

The ticket agent is a qualified professional, able to work on different GDS and airline systems and committed to following regulations and procedures from the airport and from the Airlines. He has the ability to evaluate, among several possible scenarios, the most suitable solution to meet the requirements and fulfil the needs of the clients, even in stressful and fast-changing situations.

At the airport, as a front-line operator, in addition to carrying out a key role in collecting payments for ancillary services related to departing flights, the ticketing agent provides clear information and ensures prompt help to the passengers facing problems with their reservations or when unforeseen events, such as delays and cancellations, occur.

When working in the back-office, our senior agents become the focal point for valued customers who rely on ARE to organize their business or pleasure trips. Planning and problem-solving skills are crucial and going beyond clients’ expectations is what we expect from our team every day.
