Through this, Category Land contributes directly to the IKEA Vision and Business Idea.
Job description
We are now looking forService Provider Operations Developers(SPOD),who wants to work close to operations and business development, ensuring our land logisticsservice providers perform at their best, every day.
This role reports to Business Development Manager
In this roleyou will:
- Secure and continuously improve service provider performance across capacity, quality, safety,precisionand cost.
- Ensure the right capacity is available at the right time through forecasting,planningand close partner collaboration.
- Drive operational development through service provider development plans, businessreviewsand new set-ups.
- Manage deviations and unforeseen situations to protect stable operations at the lowest total cost.
- Safeguard compliance and long-term efficiency by following up contracts,standardsand improvement opportunities.
Qualification
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience fromlogisticsoperations, transport,land service provider management in complex environments.
- Understands how capacity, quality, safety,precisionand cost come together in day‑to‑day landlogisticsexecution.
- Is comfortable working close to operations, analysing deviations and driving corrective actions with service providers.
- Balances partnership and performance, holding others accountable while developing them over time.
- Is motivated by continuous improvement and turning agreements into reliable operational results.

As SPOD, you help turn plans into reliable execution by supporting service providers to deliver safe,efficientand cost-effective landlogisticsservices.

The expected salary range for this role is €50.000 – €55.000 gross annually. This range is based on our internal salary structure and the competence, experience, and knowledge level required for the position.
