About the role

Enerland Italia is looking for an Accountant to join its Finance team in Milan.

You will handle accounting processes for Enerland Italia and its project companies (SPVs), ensuring accurate records, timely reconciliations and reliable financial information.

The role requires hands-on experience in Italian accounting. You will work closely with the Finance Manager,



internal departments and external tax and payroll advisers.
- Accounts payable & purchase-to-pay: Follow up purchase orders, record supplier invoices and credit notes in Business Central, ensuring correct approvals, matching, VAT treatment and cost allocation; reconcile supplier balances and prepare payment proposals.
- Accounts receivable & sales-to-cash: Prepare and record customer invoices and credit notes based on contracts and approved milestones; reconcile balances, record receipts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Banking & cash accounting: Record bank transactions, perform bank reconciliations across multiple entities and support cash flow tracking and payment schedules.
- Payroll accounting: Record monthly payroll entries, allocate personnel costs by project and cost centre, and reconcile employee payments and related tax and social security liabilities.
- Tax accounting: Prepare VAT
