Head of Pricing - InsuranceJob description

For a leading company operating in the insurance sector, we are looking for the Head of Pricing, with responsibility for the development, monitoring and evolution of the Company's pricing strategies.

The position will play a central role in ensuring the correct balance between commercial competitiveness, technical profitability and portfolio sustainability, working in close collaboration with the Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance, Risk and Business functions.

Main responsibilities

- Define and develop pricing strategies in line with the Company's economic, technical and commercial objectives;

- overseeing the processes of construction, revision and monitoring of tariffs, ensuring their adequacy and sustainability;

- analyze technical performance, profitability, loss ratio, margins and main portfolio KPIs;

- develop models and analyses to support tariff decisions, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for optimization;

- monitor the impact of pricing policies on technical and commercial results, proposing any corrective actions;

- contribute to the definition of the economic plan and technical forecasts, in coordination with Finance and Actuarial;

- ensure adequateoversight of tariff governance processes and related documentation;

- collaborate with Underwriting,



Product and Distribution in the definition and evolution of the insurance offer;

- coordinating and developing the reference team, promoting analytical quality, methodological soundness and business orientation;

- support management through reporting, analysis and recommendations on the main technical performance drivers.

Profile

We are looking for a professional with consolidated experience in Pricing, Actuarial Pricing or Technical Underwriting, preferably gained within structured insurance companies.

The following are required:

- solid knowledge of insurance pricing and technical profitability logics;

- ability to analyze complex portfolios and the main technical indicators;

- experience in the development and monitoring of tariff models;

- knowledge of the main insurance processes and underwriting dynamics;

- strong analytical skills and advanced use of data to support decisions;

- ability to interact with technical, commercial and financial functions;

- leadership, decision-making autonomy and ability to synthesize towards senior management.

Significant experience in the P&C; sector and a good knowledge of the quantitative and statistical tools used in pricing processes are preferential elements.

Economic conditions: € 130.000 - € 150.000
