Overview

In this role you will lead the design, development and validation of data acquisition systems for turbomachinery and climate tech applications. You will guide test execution, data validation, post-processing and reporting, while collaborating across software, hardware and customer teams. You will contribute to LabVIEW-based data acquisition software and advance innovative solutions for safe, efficient testing. This position combines hands-on testing leadership with software design input in a global, cross-functional environment.

Responsabilità

- Design the Data Acquisition System architecture for static and dynamic data during NPD programs
- Lead the data acquisition team during test commissioning and execution; verify data consistency
- Post-process data and lead test result reviews with customers; generate test reports
- Collaborate with software engineers, suppliers and customers to deliver integrated solutions




- Promote innovation by optimizing acquisition software and introducing new technologies
- Contribute to design, development, integration and validation of PLC-based control systems for test facilities
- Develop and troubleshoot control logic, interlocks, alarms and closed-loop control for safe testing
- Coordinate with test engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration of data acquisition, monitoring, automation and control systems

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s degree in STEM
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities with a passion for software development
- Experience in experimental data analysis and signal processing
- Experience in defining software architecture and design solutions
- Knowledge of software architecture and coding
- Basic experience with relational databases
- Ability to understand and manage large data sets
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Strong interpersonal skills
