OverviewIn this role you will lead Covestro’s mechanical maintenance at the Filago site, driving reliability and asset availability. You will shape maintenance programs, manage a high-performing team, and oversee safety and costs in a global manufacturing context. You’ll push digitalization and Industry 4.0 approaches to optimize maintenance. This position connects engineering, operations, and HSE to deliver safe, sustainable plant performance and continuous improvement.

Responsabilità
Define and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to improve plant reliability and asset availabilityLead, coach, and develop the maintenance team,
promoting safety and technical growthDevelop long-term spare parts strategies and EOL master plans to ensure continuity and efficiencyLead capital investment projects and manage external contractors for quality and cost-effectivenessDrive reliability initiatives using RCA and promote digital solutions including Industry 4.0 and AI-driven maintenanceCollaborate with HSE, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, compliant operations
Requisiti fondamentali
7-10 years in maintenance or reliability engineering within process industries (chemical, petrochemical, or plastics preferred)Experience participating in HAZOP reviews and Process Hazard Analysis activitiesSolid understanding of industrial equipment, P&IDs;, and mechanical drawingsKnowledge of ATEX directives and Functional Safety (SIL/PL) is highly valuedDigital mindset with proficiency in SAP PM/TMM and interest in asset management digitalizationStrong people management skills with the ability to lead organizational change and coordinate international stakeholdersNear-native proficiency in Italian and fluency in Englishleadership and people managementstrong communication and cross-functional collaborationproblem-solving and RCA mindsetSAP PM/TMMP&IDs; and mechanical drawingsknowledge of ATEX directives and Functional Safety (SIL/PL)
