Overview

As an Account Executive at Axway, you drive adoption of our MFT, API, and Cloud SaaS solutions within enterprise accounts in Italy. You will cultivate cross-functional relationships, shape account strategies, and lead multi-peson teams to close high-value deals. You operate at the intersection of business needs and technology, accelerating customers’ digital transformation. This role offers a chance to impact growth in a fast-moving market and collaborate with a global sales team.

Responsabilità

- Target and close opportunities in Enterprise Accounts across specified verticals
- Manage and qualify multiple opportunities to meet or exceed quarterly/annual quotas
- Develop relationships with C-suite personas across product sales
- Act as a digital advisor to accelerate the verticals assigned
- Oversee client relationship mapping and orchestrate the account strategy with a broad virtual team
- Develop deep understanding of customers’ business needs,



priorities, and industry direction

Requisiti fondamentali

- Proven experience selling complex software solutions in hunter roles within software vendors, technology consultancies, or systems integrators
- Experience closing large 6-7 figure ARR deals and managing complex sales cycles
- Ability to establish trusted relationships with current and prospective clients and cross-functional teams
- Strong network of C-Level executives and key IT leaders in major Italian accounts
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Bachelor’s degree with IT exposure (MBA preferred)
- Willingness to travel for trainings or visits as needed
- Experience in API Management, Managed File Transfer, B2B, and Collaboration solutions is a plus
