A true change agent who acts with integrity, collaborates across boundaries, adapts quickly, takes initiative and keeps users at the center — fostering an open, innovative, and high-performing environment. **What you will do** We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist who will support the Payroll Manager in all governance and control activities related to the Italian payroll, which is currently managed through an external provider. The role will act as an internal point of reference for all payroll-related matters, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper management of information flows between the company and the payroll provider, while working in close collaboration with the HR and Finance teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordination and supervision of the external payroll provider for the Italian employee population (approximately 950 employees) * Review and validation of payroll outputs, ensuring accuracy of salaries, contributions, taxes,



and variable compensation * Management and monitoring of monthly and annual payroll deadlines (payroll close, adjustments, tax certificates, annual filings, etc.) * Verification of payroll reconciliations and support to Finance with accounting reconciliations * Management of administrative requirements and communications with external authorities (INPS, INAIL, pension funds, tax authorities), in cooperation with the payroll provider * Internal support and advisory on labor law and compensation-related matters * Management—when required—of payroll aspects related to global mobility (expatriates, inpatriates, international assignments, shadow payroll) * Support for internal and external audits and verification of regulatory compliance * Monitoring of regulatory updates and assessment of their impact on payroll processes * Preparation of payroll and HR reporting **What you need to succeed** **Must have** * Solid experience in managing outsourced payroll and working with external providers * Excellent knowledge of Italian payroll and labor and tax regulations * Knowledge of international payroll and global mobility dynamics *Education*: High School Diploma or Degree (preferably in Economic field) *Professional experience:* At least 10 years of experience in payroll,



preferably gained in structured multinational organizations *Language:* Fluent in Italian & English, both written and spoken (mandatory requirement) *Soft skills:* * Excellent team player with a strong collaborative attitude * High level of reliability, professionalism, and sense of responsibility * Flexibility and ability to work in complex, international environments * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Proactive, solution-oriented approach *Technical Skills:* * Strong proficiency in Excel and main HR/payroll systems * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quality-oriented mindset **PAY TRANSPARENCY** **Employment Type:** Permanent Contract; Full-Time **National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL):** Metalmeccanici Privati **Minimum Gross Annual Salary:** € 40.000 **Benefits**: - Meal tickets - Lavoro da remoto The Company may offer a different compensation package than the one indicated above, based on objective criteria identified during the selection process (such as experience, skills or changes in the scope and responsibilities of the role).
