Within the Automation business area, we are looking for a Service Manager for our Genoa office. As IPT Leader of the assistance and maintenance contract, the Service Manager:
is involved in the commercial initiative, contributing to analyzing the sustainability of commitments and evaluating the level of risk of the service contract already at the proposal stage,
interfaces with the end customer for the management of contractual warranty and post-warranty commitments, in close coordination with other company functions involved (proposal & sales, supply project manager, after-sales assistance),
defines and keeps updated the program of the project/service initiative assigned to him/her,
takes charge and administers the budget of the initiative throughout the life cycle of the contract,
negotiates commitments and plans resources together with the contacts of the technical functions involved,
monitors the progress and measures the quality of the results of the individual work packages assigned, in close coordination with the technical contacts, also activating sub-supplies of externalized products/services where necessary for the completion of the initiative,
periodically reports to the operational planning function the main progress data of the contract,
updating the forecast to completion and highlighting possible emerging critical issues,
interfaces with accounting, providing timely evidence of the data necessary for the issuance and progress of invoices according to company and contractual provisions. Educational Qualification Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering Required experience level:
Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience
Expert: 3 to 5 years of experience Technical/IT skills:
Project management / coordination of working groups
Experience in maintenance engineering / spare parts logistics
Economic management of supply and/or maintenance contracts
Management of the contractual relationship with the end customer
Familiarity with working in multicultural and multilingual environments
Leadership skills
Negotiation skills
Project management (Gantt, OBS/WBS, progress reports, estimates/actuals)
Service management (SLA management, KPIs, premio/malus and penalties for maintenance services)
FMECA / RAMS analysis
Management of spare parts lists, warehouse management logic (stock levels, reorder lots, procurement lead time, etc.)
OEE analysis and continuous improvement
Customer satisfaction measurement (CSAT, NPS, CES, ...)
Knowledge of IT environments (operating systems, etc.)
MS Office applications (Word-Excel-Powerpoint) Behavioral skills:
