Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Trento. The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems for industrial coating machines, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance.
Day-to-day activities include creating and updating CAD models and technical drawings, performing mechanical calculations, and supporting prototype development and testing. The role involves collaborating with R&D;, production, and automation teams to integrate mechanical designs into fully automated coating lines and optimize existing equipment. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in project planning, documentation, and technical support for installation, commissioning, and after-sales service.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to apply engineering principles to industrial machinery and surface treatment systems.
• Proficiency in Machine Design, including mechanical component sizing, material selection, and design for manufacturability and maintainability.
