Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto Networks security solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, and optimization of enterprise network and security infrastructures, while also managing project activities, BAU operations, incidents, and change requests.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a strong customer-oriented mindset, capable of working both remotely and on customer sites when required.
Responsibilities include (are not limited to)
- Design, implement, configure, and support Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
- Manage and maintain Check Point firewall environments.
- Implement and support Zscaler ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) solutions.
- Lead and support technology refresh and migration projects.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problem investigations, and change activities within BAU operations.
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Provide on-site support at customer locations when required.
- Participate in on-call and out-of-hours support activities.
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Solid experience with Check Point firewalls.
- Experience with Zscaler ZTNA solutions.
- Strong knowledge of LAN and Data Centre networking technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, STP and related networking protocols.
- Experience working in managed services or customer-facing environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong customer-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Palo Alto Networks Certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE).
