Position Description & Qualifications Serco has an exciting Project Management opportunity with a dynamic team in Middletown, Rhode Island. Bring your expertise and leadership skills and make an impact supporting our Navy clients on the PC-Based Open-Architecture for Reconfigurable Training Systems (PORTS) program.
The PORTS team designs and develops simulation-based training devices/systems for the US Surface Navy to train sailors on the operation and employment of their combat, weapon, and sensor systems. You will be part of a team of professionals who work closely together to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: In this role, you will: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Prepare data items in accordance with Do D requirements.
Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics,



and schedules Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Participate in proposal activities for new projects To be successful in this role, you will have: Be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a U. S. Department of Defense (Do D) Secret security clearance.
Have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management Have a minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss Be familiar with software development projects Have solid experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, MSProject) Travel up to 10% Additional Desired experience and skills: Previous experience managing software development projects or HW/SW delivery and installation type projects Expe
