Mission - What is the challenge?
We are looking for an HVAC System Engineer to join our engineering team and support the development, integration and validation of HVAC systems for railway applications .
Technical skills:
- Define technical and functional requirements for HVAC systems.
- Analyse and manage customer requirements and applicable standards .
- Support the design and integration of HVAC systems within the railway vehicle.
- Manage technical interfaces with other onboard subsystems, such as doors, TCMS, electrical and pneumatic systems .
- Verify compliance with project requirements and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation and system specifications .
- Support testing, validation and commissioning activities.
- Analyse and solve technical issues and anomalies identified during testing and commissioning.
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers and international stakeholders .
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Energy, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–4+ years of experience in HVAC, System Engineering, Transportation or related fields.
- Good knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer and HVAC systems .
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation .
- Good knowledge of English (B2 or higher) .
- Familiarity with requirements management and technical documentation tools .
- Experience in the railway, automotive or aerospace sectors.
- Knowledge of ALM tools , such as DOORS or Polarion.
- Experience in testing and validation of complex systems .
- Knowledge of relevant railway standards and regulations .
- Fluent in English and Italian
