Role Description For a major capital project at the manufacturing site of a leading global pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the installation of a new electrical substation.
The role requires a strong electrical engineering background, proven construction management expertise, and direct experience delivering projects within operational pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise on-site electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved engineering documentation, and HSE requirements.
- Manage electrical contractors and subcontractors, overseeing execution quality, construction progress, and schedule adherence.
- Coordinate the installation of electrical substation equipment and associated power distribution infrastructure.
- Manage construction interfaces across engineering,
site operations, contractors, and commissioning teams.
- Oversee site inspections, quality control activities, and resolution of technical issues arising during construction.
- Support construction completion, system handover, and commissioning readiness.
Profile:
- Experience in electrical construction management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Track record in the installation or upgrade of industrial electrical substations and power distribution systems.
- Technical knowledge of MV/LV electrical infrastructure, switchgear, transformers, and associated electrical installations.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and coordinate construction activities in complex, highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of construction safety, quality assurance, and site execution requirements.
- Fluent Italian is mandatory, as the role requires daily coordination with local contractors, site personnel, and technical stakeholders.
- P.IVA is preferred
