Role Description The Chef De Partie at Pastificio is a full-time, on-site role based in Rome, responsible for managing a specific station in the kitchen and ensuring consistent quality in all dishes prepared. Day-to-day tasks include preparing ingredients, executing menu items according to established recipes, maintaining portion and presentation standards, and monitoring food safety and hygiene practices.

The role involves coordinating with Sous Chefs and other team members to ensure smooth service, assisting with menu development and specials, and supporting inventory management and ordering needs for the station.

Partie will also mentor junior kitchen staff, help train new team members,



and contribute to a positive, efficient, and respectful working environment.

Qualifications

- Professional experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar station chef role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, including preparation techniques, flavor profiles, and plating standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a designated kitchen station, maintain high-quality output, and work effectively during peak service times.
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices for kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, communicate clearly with colleagues, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training is preferred, along with a commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Fluency in Italian or English is beneficial, with the ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
