Jarlen Capital
Business Development Manager, Contamination Control (Spain / Italy)
Jarlen Capital | Remote | Freelance, minimum 0.5 FTE
About the Role
Jarlen Capital has been appointed to lead the commercial expansion of a European manufacturer of Far-UVC (222 nm) contamination-control systems in the Spanish and Italian markets. The client's systems provide continuous reduction of airborne and surface bioburden while people are present, and are deployed internationally in GMP cleanrooms, healthcare facilities and food production environments. The portfolio covers personnel and material decontamination at cleanroom entry points as well as fixed installations for production areas, and operates under an ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 certified quality management system.
We are seeking a senior Business Development Manager to build and own the client's pipeline in the region, with a primary focus on pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing and food production. You will engage site leadership, quality, engineering and contamination-control decision makers, and convert them into site-level installations and multi-site programmes. You acquire, manage and retain your own portfolio, with full ownership of the client relationship from first meeting through installation and expansion.
Our Team
Jarlen Capital is an international business development firm leading commercial expansion and partnering mandates for clients across life sciences, MedTech and technology. - A demonstrable track record of closing six- and seven-figure contracts
- An established network of decision makers in pharmaceutical, biotech and/or food manufacturing in Spain and/or Italy
- Working knowledge of the regulatory and quality environment of your target sectors (e.g. EU GMP Annex 1, HACCP, IFS, BRCGS) is an advantage
- Fluency in English, plus Spanish or Italian at C1 level or above, as relevant to your target region
- Self-directed and accountable for your own results
Terms
- Freelance engagement, minimum 0.5 FTE, fully remote
- Commission-only for the first three months
- Fixed retainer following a performance review at month three, in addition to commission
- Exclusive regional rights upon achieving agreed KPIs
- (T&E;) Travel and expenses covered
