Accountant – General Ledger & Financial Reporting

Location: Pero, Milan, Italy

Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

Accountant responsible for general accounting, period-end close, financial reporting support, tax compliance and coordination with external consultants and auditors.

Responsibilities

- Manage general ledger accounting through preparation of pre-tax financial statements.
- Prepare adjusting, accrual, correction and depreciation entries.
- Prepare, submit and reconcile F24 tax payment forms.
- Manage periodic accounting and month-end closing activities.
- Support administrative and financial reporting.
- Liaise with external consultants and auditors.
- Prepare documentation required for professional accounting support.
- Monitor tax compliance requirements and deadlines.

Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting and/or degree in Economics, Accounting or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good English communication skills (B1/B2 level).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, proactivity and problem-solving skills.
