THE POSITION
The IT O&L; Liaison Italy will help represent the IT O&L; function at the Bidachem and Noventa manufacturing sites, acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT to ensure that site-specific demands and needs are met in line with expectations and strategic investments. This role is pivotal in supporting the digital transformation journey of both sites, with a strong focus on the investment programs, which aims to elevate the site's digitalization and integration with global solutions. The person will foster a culture of innovation, proactively engage with business partners, and ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of these very important locations in the Boehringer Ingelheim network.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary IT interface for the site leadership communities, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT solutions.
- Lead, develop, and coach other IT professionals, promoting organizational flexibility, diversity, and continuous growth.
- Drive the execution of digital initiatives, especially those related to the S4G program,
ensuring successful delivery and integration with global platforms.
- Proactively communicate with business stakeholders to anticipate site needs and potential challenges.
- Oversee compliance of IT processes and services with internal and external regulations, including GxP, legal, and corporate standards.
- Will help to manage the IT budget and resources for the site and area of responsibility, ensuring optimal allocation and performance.
- Continuously monitor the market for innovative technologies and practices, proposing proof-of-concept (PoC) projects that support the site's future sustainability.
- Represent the sites in global IT forums and collaborate with other IT and business functions to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or Automation.
