Role: Patent Attorney - Mechatronics Location: We are partnered with a law firm in Italy, specialising in industrial and intellectual property. They offer professional services for the drafting and filing of patent, utility model, design, and trademark applications. The firm handles applications filed with the EPO, EUIPO, WIPO, and the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, collaborating with foreign correspondents for local national applications.
We are seeking a seeking a Patent Attorney with a technical background in mechatronics, to join their team in Milan and another in Treviso. The successful candidates with have a degree in Engineering or other related scientific disciplines, experience drafting patent applications and prosecuting in Italy and abroad, and experience drafting patentability, validity, and FTO opinions.
Degree in Engineering or related scientific faculties
Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Experience using specialised databases and collaborating with international correspondents is an advantage.
