This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Craftsperson/Typescript- II based in Italy.
This is a remote opportunity for a hands-on software engineer with 3–6 years of experience building scalable, production-grade systems. You'll take ownership across the software development lifecycle, from system design and implementation through testing and production readiness. The role combines strong TypeScript engineering with modern AI and LLM technologies, including agentic workflows and AI-powered applications. You'll work on complex, cross-functional initiatives while applying software craftsmanship, Extreme Programming, and modern engineering practices. Accountabilities
- Own complex software initiatives end to end, from design and implementation through testing, production readiness, and ongoing improvement.
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript and strong software craftsmanship principles.
- Design and deliver production-ready features while balancing business scope, technical quality, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Build AI-powered applications and workflows using LLMs, AI agents, agentic frameworks, and modern AI tooling.
- Work with technologies such as OpenAI, Claude, agentic frameworks, and AI skills/tooling to create reliable and useful AI experiences.
- Identify technical and product risks beyond the immediate scope of assigned work and proactively drive appropriate solutions.
