We are looking for a Chef de Rang who knows that it takes good taste to recognise good taste — and that great service is no different. You know that exceptional hospitality is all about the details: the right timing, a thoughtful touch, and a genuine connection with every guest. With your professionalism, flair, and passion for creating memorable moments, you help turn every meal at AMA Stay into something truly special.
Tasks
Welcome guests, accompany them to their tables, and provide knowledgeable information about dishes and beverages
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Orderman and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar
Work closely with the Commis de Rang, coordinating tasks through clear communication and supporting a smooth service
Lead by example and contribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphere
Support the training and development of team members by sharing knowledge and experience
Organise the daily mise en place together with the Commis de Rang
Maintain a welcoming and well-organised dining environment throughout the service




Handle guest and service-related issues calmly and in a solution-oriented way
Complete the cash register closing and ensure accurate payment handling at the end of the evening
Contribute ideas to continuously improve our service and guest experience
Requirements
Several years of experience in fine dining restaurant service or a similar hospitality role
Fluent in Italian and English; German is an advantage
Open-minded, eager to learn, and committed to personal and professional development
Strong problem-solving mindset and a solution-oriented approach
Excellent guest orientation and strong communication skills

Team player with leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and support a young, dynamic team
