Special Education Paraeducators
Special education paraprofessionalsassiststudents with special needs under the direction of a certified teacher. The special education paraprofessionalassiststhe teacher in general daily classroom activities, help specialneeds students, and cares for their physical, emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities, and striving to promote dignity in all relationships.Theyteachsmall groups of students byprovidingsupport for the essential skills for learning.Paraeducatorsassistwith core academics, executive functioning skills, andstudent care. Paraeducatorshave the unique opportunity to contribute to positive educational outcomes by working as part of the outstanding team dedicated to educating ourstudents.

Wage:
$20.15/hour
Schedule:
6.25 - 6.5 hours per day for 183 days per year
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of college credit OR
- Pass a paraeducator assessment (Para Pro)
