Job description
The Head of Support Services is responsible for the management and coordination of all country support services departments, including Finance, Human Resources, Logistics and Procurement.
Working closely with the Country Representative, Head of Programmes, Project Managers and relevant headquarters and regional colleagues, the role ensures efficient, compliant and accountable support to programme implementation. MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide leadership, line management, support and guidance to country Finance, Human Resources, Logistics and Procurement teams Coordinate support services planning, priorities and departmental development in alignment with country objectives and programme needs Ensure that internal policies, standard operating procedures and the Local Operational Manual are developed, updated, contextualised, disseminated and applied Establish effective interdepartmental coordination mechanisms and maintain a proactive link between support services and programme teams Oversee accounting, financial reporting, country budgets, project budget preparation and revisi
