Role & responsibilities Business Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with the business leadership to align mining operations strategy with overall business objectives and production targets. Operational Control and Direction: Ensure stringent adherence to safety standards, including DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety) compliances, forest department regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Strategically deploy resources, including equipment and personnel, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness while meeting all compliance standards. Safety Management: Ensure implementation and adherence to the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental management (IMS) programmes and objectives. Zero Tolerance regarding safe work practices and implement safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to mitigate risks and hazards in mining operations.
