Hi I'm Abhik, Ashby's Co-Founder and VP of Engineering. We're looking for an ambitious full‐stack engineer who is laser‐focused on solving customer problems and building long‐term solutions. About The Role
As a Product Engineer you'll own a significant portion of one of our products and manage projects end‐to‐end. You will research competitors, write product specs, produce wireframes, and develop feature implementations that are integral to our platform.
Responsibilities
Lead product feature development from concept through launch. Write detailed technical specifications and wireframes. Build and maintain robust, scalable code across the stack. Collaborate with Designers and Product Managers on user research and feature prioritization. Integrate new features into existing infrastructure and ensure high quality through testing and code reviews. Continuously refactor and improve codebases, including tooling and abstractions.
Present progress and gather feedback from stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications
Comfortable working on all layers of the stack. Experience solving ambiguous product and technical problems. Balanced sense of speed and quality, able to ship high‐quality code quickly. Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to shape decisions with stakeholders. Ambitious and continually looking to improve and grow. Experience with ownership of end‐to‐end projects. Engineering Culture Minimal process—ownership of decisions traditionally handled by product and design. Natural collaboration with deliberate communication.
