We are looking for a Space System Engineer to support the development of satellite systems, with a focus on PDHC architectures, integration, requirements verification, and ECSS standards.

About this vacancy
Main activities:
- Contributing to the definition of system and subsystem architectures (S/S–P/L)
- Performing and supporting engineering analyses related to architectures, interfaces, and system performance.
- Supporting verification and validation activities of equipment and system requirements.
- Providing support for satellite integration and testing campaigns (AIT).
- Technical monitoring of communication equipment and payload data management.
- Preparing and updating technical documentation and engineering reports.
What we expect from you
Technical Skills
- Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Knowledge of onboard digital architectures, data management systems, and high-speed transmitters.
- Knowledge of RF systems, digital electronics, and TT&C; subsystems.
- Familiarity with onboard interfaces and protocols such as MIL-STD-1553, CAN Bus, and SpaceWire.
- Knowledge of ECSS standards and System Engineering processes.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, C/C++, IBM DOORS.
- Experience in space programs and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
What you can expect from us
The position offers a permanent contract and the gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €35,000, in accordance with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.
TMC is committed to proposing a competitive compensation package and, at the end of the selection process, based on assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, may offer a final RAL above the level indicated above.
In accordance with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a component of direct participation in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget of €4,000 net annually for skill development, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection phase, in compliance with current company policies.
