pJob Description Summary As a Mechanical Production Cell Leader, you will lead the manufacturing cell to achieve production targets for the Nozzle and Rotor Blades programs while improving Quality and EHS standards. In this role, you will actively lead Daily Shop Management through a Lean problem-solving approach, embedding Servant Leadership values. You will also integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within your functional area of expertise, participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. /ph3Essential Responsibilities: /h3ulliLead the rate increase and linearity of Mechanical Production Area ensuring deliveries on time /liliLead the Daily Shop Management of production area thru the problem solving methodologies, managing priorities and parts/products with high customer impact /liliLead Lean Transformation of VS, working on Flow optimization and pull system, driving and foster Lean culture across the team /liliOwn the responsibilities for achieving business profit, productivity, safety, and quality goals /liliDirect process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization /liliLead the team to achieve goals in asset utilization, process/manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction /liliInterface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time /liliProvide ongoing supervision and counseling for employees, guiding them in current positions and assisting with career development and training /liliFacilitate the leadership team in decision-making and problem solving and provide effective communication across the plant /liliDevelop and track sales, expense, inventory, and investment budgets with the input of each organization /liliProvide leadership in the areas of staff selection, training and development, facility planning and construction, process, and procedure implementation /li /ulh3Required Qualifications:
/h3ulliMaster's Degree in Engineering degree with a proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Material and/or Lean field /liliProven knowledge of machining and special processes applicable on aeronautic components /liliKnowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, and standard cost systems /liliKnowledge and proven experience of Lean 6-sigma methodologies /liliKnowledge of manufacturing policies and regulations established by GE as well as government and other customers /liliKnowledge of Aviation rules, products and processes /liliAbility to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demands /liliFluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken /liliWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required /li /ulh3Desired Characteristics: /h3ulliServant Leadership characteristics and attitudes /liliChange agent mindset /liliStrong oral and written communication skills /liliInterpersonal and leadership skills /liliDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems /liliDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projects /liliEstablished project management skills /li /ulh3Why Join Us: /h3pAt Avio Aero, people power our progress.
