Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Cable Jointer to join our office in Milan and onshore/offshore sites.
Reporting directly to Jointing Discipline Leader, you will: Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized underground work.
Lead crew and represent the Company in absence of the Foreman.
Effectively conduct pre-job briefings.
Possess a working knowledge of all aspects of underground distribution.
Frequently works with energized high voltage systems (up to 400kV) requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others.
Capable of safely operating and maintaining company equipment.
Performs all other related work as required to complete the job.
Inspects the work of crew members Splice and terminate HV/EHV Cables with extremely low failure rates Assist or supervise HV/EHV cable pulling, testing, or supervision activities as required.
Travel: Up to 45 weeks per year You are the right fit if you have/are: Technical studies Driving License English knowledge (basic) Previous experiences in jointing activities (preferred) What we offer you: Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for 6 months ( renewable and/or convertible into a permanent contract ) Work Location: Milan National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL):
Gomma e Plastica Electrical Cables and Related Industries Job Classification and Grade: Blue-collar worker – Grade H–F* as provided for under Gomma e Plastica CCNL Minimum Gross Annual Salary: €24,000 Travel Allowance and Overtime Compensation: based on the geographical area in which the employee performs their duties.

Mobility Requirement: willingness to travel for more than 45 weeks per year is required.
