What the Job Entails (Top 5 Responsibilities)Own full-cycle accounting and monthly close for a portfolio of eCommerce clients, ensuring a clean 5-day close on submitted workReview Accountant work for accuracy, completeness, and documentation qualityPrepare and review reconciliations (bank, credit card, AR/AP, inventory, COGS, prepaids, accruals, returns)Communicate directly with clients to share updates, clarify questions, request information, and flag issues earlyStrengthen internal processes and controls; help streamline workflows to improve accuracy and speedWhat Makes This Role UniqueSimilar scope of work as a Controller, but with slightly smaller or less complex portfolios, allowing focused ownershipHigh degree of client-facing interaction, owning operational communication with founders and client teamsExposure to high-growth Shopify, Amazon,
