Job Description SummaryAs a Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist, you will support the compliant, efficient, and timely international movement of parts, components, and technical documentation across our aerospace organization.Il suo CV è pronto? Se sì, e se è convinto/a che questo sia il ruolo giusto per lei, si candidi il prima possibile.Job DescriptionYou will manage daily import/export and trade compliance activities, helping ensure customs documentation is accurate, customs clearance is completed smoothly, and all transactions comply with applicable export control and sanctions requirements. You will partner closely with Internal Trade Compliance (ITC), Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and external brokers/forwarders to minimize operational disruptions and support on‑time delivery.Essential ResponsibilitiesSupport import/export and customs compliance activities in a regulated aerospace and industrial environmentAssist the governance process developmentCoordinate with brokers, forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment issuesSupport restricted party screening and license administrationContribute to KPI reporting, data accuracy, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure ongoing monitoring of customs and import/export regulatory updates, while developing and maintaining related internal proceduresRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Law or EngineeringProven experience in customs, import/export, logistics, trade compliance,
or supply chainKnowledge of customs processes and international trade documentationExperience with EU customs/export control regulations is a plusFluent EnglishStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work across functions in a fast‑paced environmentHigh integrity, learning agility, and a proactive mindWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired QualificationsFamiliarity with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and cross‑border shipping operationsWorking knowledge of HS classification, customs valuation, origin determination, and IncotermsUnderstanding of sanctions compliance, restricted party screening tools, and export licensing processesExperience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or internal control processesExperience with KPI tracking, reporting tools, and data analysisDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements in customs, logistics, or trade compliance workflowsStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partnersWhy Join UsAt Avio Aero, people power our progress.
