SummarySummary this highly visible role is responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and controllership of raw material and logistics costs.Responsibilitiesplan, analyze and drive execution of material cost.analyze raw material purchases and maintain accuracy and controllership of financials.advise operations and business unit finance teams on material cost and implement process?improvement recommendations.deliver efficient and accurate financial reporting and analysis to internal clients (operations, supply chain management, business units and sectors) ensuring compliance with u.S. gaap and momentive internal policies.analyze monthly inflation variance versus standard and report logistics cost budgeting, quarterly forecasting and ad?hoc estimations.design and improve reporting processes for raw material cost and collaborate with business partners on assigned projects.review and approve specific business transactions in line with momentive's delegation of authority policy, coordinating with operations, finance, procurement, supply chain management and business unit management.Qualificationsdegree (c, a, mba) in finance, accounting,
business or related field.4?5+ years of progressive finance experience as finance analyst, cost analyst, operations analyst or similar.critical thinking, strategic mindset and strong material cost planning, analysis and budgeting skills.excellent communication and proven ability to work with cross?functional global teams.fluency in english (mandatory).
Preferredstrong experience with sap business warehouse, advanced ms excel (filters, pivots, dynamic charts, formulas, vlookup) and ms powerpoint.working knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls and u.S. regulations (sox, revenue recognition, matching, full disclosure).
