If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice. /b /p h3Seed Production Research Associate (m/f/d) /h3 pBayer Crop Science is a leading agricultural company specializing in innovative crop protection products, seeds, and digital solutions to help farmers sustainably increase productivity. /p pThe Seed Production Research Associate is accountable for planning and executing the Breeding strategies to produce Corn seeds that will feed diverse pipelines across EME aligned with scientists from P Design and P Development. /p pThis position requires a strong knowledge in Corn seed production operations with a strong emphasis on Corn agronomy and for the experimental design of nursery field. /p pThis role involves overseeing the daily operations within the Seed Production workflows, focusing on efficient resource planning, safety protocols, and quality assurance initiatives. /p h3YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: /h3 ul liResponsible for the experimental design and management of nurseries in the field and for the evaluation of experimental fields /li liOversee farm-related activities such as field preparation, irrigation, planting, harvesting, and maintenance as needed /li liResponsible for planting and harvesting Corn experimental fields (inbred production) with a focus on corn agronomy /li liManage data collection equipment and train the team to carry out evaluations /li liResponsible for data processing and analysis using company-provided software, generating graphical visualizations to support decision-making /li liSupport planning activities, including monitoring planting and harvest data, site planting capacity, procurement of inputs and supplies,



and workforce requirements for the activities /li liConduct critical analysis of the main deliverables for each season and contribute to identifying root causes related to key productivity deviations /li liManage supplies, stock, and supplier communications to ensure timely availability of consumable resources /li liSupervise temporary workers to carry out the operations requested and ensure equipment, packaging and daily maintenance when needed /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in various ongoing projects aimed at optimizing processes /li liSupport the implementation of the innovation on seed production methods to enhance nursery quality and data collection practices /li liEnsure compliance with HSE rules, monitoring and executing daily operational tasks /li liIdentify and report potential risks and opportunities observed during daily operations /li liMaintain timely, complete, and accurate records of all processes and outcomes, ensuring alignment with established objectives /li liCollaborate with EMEA SPPD Hub as well as with the EU Corn Units to ensure high-quality seed production and timely delivery to all stakeholders /li liEngage with EMEA and Global Breeding teams to execute initiatives and align with global strategies /li liCollaborate with Seed processing and packaging activities once harvesting is completed contributing for the entire season workflows due to the alternance activities /li /ul h3WHO YOU ARE: /h3 ul liDegree in agriculture, genetics, biology, chemistry, or related field /li liAt least 3 years of significant experience in agricultural-related position (Research Development area) /li liStrong understanding of crop production and farm practices, with experience in nursery and hybrid seed production is required /li liB category driving license is required /li liHighly self-motivated, innovative,
