pWe are looking for a bSupply Chain Manager /b to join our Italian manufacturing plant in Ostiglia (MN) and play an important role in bbuilding our Supply Chain function step by step /b. /ppThis is a role for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, making decisions and seeing the direct results of their work. With two direct reports, the role works closely with Production, Sales and Industrial Engineering and has a strong operational focus on strategic Purchasing and Material Planning, while supervising Logistics, Shipping and Warehouse activities. /ph3Key responsibilities: /h3ulliCoordinate and carry out strategic purchasing and material planning activities, ensuring production continuity and on-time delivery. /liliPro-activelyb manage suppliers /b, bnegotiations /b, purchasing conditions and lead times. /liliPlan and deliver required bcost reduction initiatives /b for direct and indirect materials. /liliSupervise Logistics, Shipping and Warehouse activities, providing guidelines and priorities. /liliCoordinate priorities between Supply Chain and Production, addressing delays and critical issues.
/liliDevelop and implement Supply Chain and Purchasing KPIs to improve processes and the company ERP system. /li /ulh3What we are looking for: /h3ulli5+ years of experience in Supply Chain roles within manufacturing companies, preferably in the metalworking industry and in international companies. /liliGood experience in purchasing/procurement, supplier management, negotiation and cost reduction. /liliGood knowledge of ERP systems and Excel. /liliFluent English; German is a plus. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a bsmall manufacturing environment /b. /liliPractical, proactive and results-oriented approach. /li /ulh3What we offer: /h3ulliEmployment contract in accordance with the Italian CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria.
